or the first few weeks of the school year, our preschool experienced quite the transformation. After facing our fair share of challenges, such as adjusting to smaller classroom spaces while the lower level was being renovated, we are now happily settled back in our regular rooms. I am genuinely grateful for the resilience and adaptability everyone demonstrated during this transitional period.
One highlight that has the entire Community Christian Preschool buzzing with excitement is the new gym floor. Both our staff and the children eagerly await the day we can utilize the vast space downstairs. Moreover, our teachers couldn't be more thrilled with their renovated classrooms, now adorned with vibrant colors and new flooring.
Recently, we celebrated Frontier Day, an annual event where our students are introduced to a variety of frontier-themed activities. From pony rides to hayrides, and from a recreated Native American village where kids participate in craft-making to a campfire session with none other than Davy Crockett (played by the talented Joe Furno), the day was full of fun and learning. This year, Frontier Games was a hit among the students, featuring pumpkin games, wheelbarrow rides, and ring toss.
A noteworthy mention is the turnout we had for Frontier Day. Many parents joined us, making it one of our most successful events. Their presence allowed them to immerse in the Frontier Day experience alongside their children. Their involvement always brings added joy to our events.
As the year progresses, we are already looking forward to the festive season. Our next big events on the horizon are the Thanksgiving and Christmas programs.
Lastly, it brings immense happiness to share that new families from our preschool have started attending the church. It's heartening to see our community grow and come together in faith.
