Worship, Fellowship, and Learning

Our Trip to Cedarville University

I

n January, we had the privilege of attending the Worship 4:24 Conference at Cedarville University with our worship and production teams, marking it as our largest group participation yet. This event, highlighted by sessions with Shane and Shane, was a blend of worship experiences and breakout sessions focusing on musical skills, leadership, and tech improvements.

The conference was invaluable for three main reasons. First, it allowed our team to bond and connect outside the usual Sunday pressures, fostering deeper relationships. Second, it gave us a chance to immerse ourselves in worship as participants, a rare opportunity for those of us who serve regularly on Sundays. Lastly, it served as a training hub to refine our skills, reinforcing our commitment to excellence in serving our church and God.

A memorable aspect of our journey was the travel time to Cedarville, offering six hours of fellowship and brainstorming. Additionally, a lighthearted moment shared was the unexpected prize toss of leftover Chick-fil-A sandwiches during the closing session, a reminder of the joy and community spirit that permeated the event.

I want to express my gratitude to our church and leadership for enabling this enriching experience and to all our volunteers who dedicate their Sundays to worship service. Your efforts and talent in facilitating worship are truly appreciated. Thank you for the behind-the-scenes work that enhances our worship experiences.
