his year, we returned to hosting our Outdoor Fun Day over two days. We invited parents to join us as each class rotated through various outdoor stations. The children were thrilled to bring their bikes and helmets, playing on the jumper slide and participating in water activities. The science lady also brought her exciting experiments, making the day even more special. It was our way of ending the school year on a high note, right before the final week.
Organizing Outdoor Fun Day is our way of bringing families together one last time before summer. It’s a chance to create special memories with the kids and connect with parents we might not see regularly. As the director, one of my biggest challenges is managing the costs, from rentals to purchasing supplies, but it’s worth it for the joy it brings to everyone involved.
Reflecting on this past school year, I can say it was truly wonderful. We had great kids, supportive families, and an amazing staff. One standout moment was seeing a family with adopted children become regular church attendees. It’s been a blessing to witness God’s work in their lives and to plant seeds of faith in others, even if we don't always see immediate results.
Our preschool is a vital part of the church's mission. Events like VBS and other activities planned by the children's ministry help involve preschool parents and make them feel part of the church community. Beyond that, we’re always here to support and pray for families, fostering a sense of belonging and care.
Looking ahead, I hope the preschool continues to be a strong ministry and outreach. With our dedicated staff, I’m confident we’ll remain a cherished part of the community, known for our love and commitment to teaching children about God’s love.
