ur Student Ministry Pastor just had a celebration of 10 years with Community Church. One Sunday in early June, Pastor Joseph was brought stage and congratulated by Pastor Mike.
Below is Joseph's response:
"I am proud to say that I have accomplished this feat but more than that, this speaks of God’s faithfulness. I started here when I was a Sr in college and after graduation I was hired as Full Time Youth Leader. God brought me to Community and He has sustained me for these 10 years. "
"If you look around our church you can see many faces that I have been able to walk with during their youth and now they are adults, serving God in many different capacities. Looking back on God’s faithfulness is just an honor. When we are faithful to Him, we can see how God has moved in our lives, but not only here at Community Church. Hopefully in your life as well. "
"I’d like to thank Pastor Mike, the Elders, Jessica, my wife, and family for all their support. I could not do this job without the support of my wife so please thank her when you see her. "
"Let’s do this again in 10 years but in the meantime please pray for a few things I have on my list. First, I would like to ask you to pray for Favor from God at Coventry Schools. I have been praying for almost 10 years that doors would open for us. For the past 18 months or so, I have been coaching basketball there. That is an answer to prayer but we need to keep praying. Second, I am one person. Jesus had 12 disciples and so I need some of you to come alongside me and as leaders and volunteers to share the Good News of Jesus Christ with our youth."
